(virtual sessions)
Ivanna has been working in the field of holistic wellness for the past seven years, with a specific emphasis on mental health and trauma-informed practices. In her work as a trauma-informed wellness educator, certified life coach, and yoga teacher trainer, she is committed to creating supportive spaces for individuals to deepen their relationship with themselves and expand their capacity to engage with life. Ivanna is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), a certified Life Coach accredited with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and is in her second year of training in Somatic Experiencing, a body-based modality premised on the resolution of trauma.
Ivanna has worked with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem issues, relationship/interpersonal difficulties, and challenging life transitions. She provides a safe, empathetic, and confidential space for clients to navigate their inner experience while offering practical strategies to manage difficult emotional states. She operates under a particular social justice and anti-oppressive lens and her approach to treatment incorporates a unique blend of both evidence-based holistic and clinical modalities.
Ivanna believes that therapy should be a collaborative and creative process that involves all aspects of Self, so that wellness can be experienced in an integrated and sustainable way. She incorporates an integrative approach drawing on relational, somatic, and humanist frameworks in a way that is client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-sensitive. The modalities she utilizes in session are client-dependent and include Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, early developmental/attachment theories, as well as Mindfulness-based and Somatic-informed approaches.
Ivanna offers therapy in English, Spanish and Ukrainian.
