Nicole is a registered psychotherapist. She uses an attachment-based, person-centered, collaborative, compassionate and integrative approach to provide therapy to children, young people, and their families. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Memorial University, and a Master’s of Social Work from McGill University. She has received specific training in Advanced Attachment-Theory, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Play Therapy.
Nicole's passion and commitment to children, youth, and adults have been a common thread throughout her professional practice over the last 6 years. She has gained an invaluable amount of experience and knowledge, learning from the people she has worked with while being rooted in theoretical frameworks and modalities. Some of her specialties include: Emotional Regulation, Relationship and/or attachment challenges, Parenting support, Body & Brain Connection, Gender & Sexual Diversity, Anxiety and/or Depression, Traumatic Experiences, Communication, Conflict Resolution, & Supporting executive function.
